So, I cannot walk long distances or for a great period of time due to Covid. It was a three month battle and left me with damage.
My sweet son made me an atv wheelchair. It needs some work because when we hit a bump hard enough, I could go flying out. Wessie does not much mind that this happens to me, but I do. Haha. Just kidding.
Anyway, we went to Gordyville last weekend. It is a huge flea market. Of course it was hot and it was a bad breathing day for me. We took the regular wheelchair which my tall family does not like to push because it is so short it gives them a backache. There are a total of five adults besides me and two granddaughters that went. We were having a great time, there was so much stuff there.
Well, I teased them about it but did not think it would really happen. They ALL left me in the middle of an aisle. I had a ton of stuff on my lap and my arms were not free. I could not really get up safely because the wheelchair was not locked. I managed to get free enough to use my hands to operate the wheels. So, I can finally use the wheels and the darn thing only went around in circles. Wouldn’t you know that I, like a fool, would keep trying and trying?
No one even asked if I needed help. Haha. They would stare at me but walk on by. No one in my family thought about me. They all thought the other was with me.
I forget who showed up first, but someone finally did. Being us, we laughed and laughed. Especially about me going in circles.
